Anchorage, Alaska hailing musical artist Ralph Castelli's Soundcloud bio says, "It's a perfect day to be alive," and on his latest song, "Running," the singer/songwriter and producer crafts a jaunty tune over and done with staring out the window, separated from the world and the love in that world.
A thumping, spiraling bassline nets you into the deep alt pop rhythms stemming from an undulating guitar riff, electronic drums/fills and claps cooking the song's tone sunny-side-up. Castelli's production balances wanting to dance and wanting to spend a day doing nothing. His star-crossed lyrics and vocals further detail the preferred company he'd rather have across his list of time wasters.
