Roc Marciano Tom Chambers

New York-born rapper seemingly more myth than man, Roc Marciano, explicitly told the way he paints houses by proxy of the pen all throughout his cinematic project "Marcielago." But with an igniting score an equally explosive movie must come attached with it, something Roc Marci reverse engineered a la the chicken before the egg with the Unjust-directed/animated visuals for "Tom Chambers."

Feeling seedy like "The Venture Bros." intro, "TC's" paper comic book animation visualizes the hyper underworld Marciano controls bar-for-bar, impressively paced like his suspicious pocket. The two in tandem amp up the ultra violent scenes to match the posh analogies and expensive brand name drops threaded to hollow tip punchlines that consistently detail Marciano's unforgiving world constructed by his rhymes. And things get left with a cliffhanger closing making you fiend for the next track of the tape.

A sweet end to the ill crime tale put to an ever smaller screen.
