Detroit-based artist Akhil Sesh has been on an odyssean search throughout his latest album, Free My Shooter, returning in documented style with Brix-shot visuals for the righteous cut Black Jesus.

Black Jesus's collage structured visuals paste the different worlds of Detroit and Japan together using cimmerian transitions and intimidating slow-mo shots that capture Sesh's riveting stares. The natural city lighting look of the video up against Akhil's enjoyment and noisy filters make him feel different amid a lot of ordinary, almost as if he's transformed into something beastly, as if the shots of a full moon and Great Ape vibes allude to something. Stylistically, Black Jesus flashes before your eyes like some parts of A$AP Forever's visuals, with a Bryan Adams' Everything I Do soul searching yearn applied to the look of the artist.

Brix and Akhil Sesh let us see the joy of a longtime wanderer. And it's the right time to take the trip with him.
