Artist Kas figured out beachy skater vibes in his music despite hailing from Minneapolis. His latest jam, Lifted, plays how Illegal Civilization models would party.

DannyTV's summery rhythm guitar chords and a four-to-the-floor bass propel Lifted to an infectious movement. Schmoozing chords scale, turning on the street lights of the song, so to speak, alerting all the kids it's time to party. TV's production rhythm steps right into the party, with Kas and featured artist Drelli grabbing their red solo cup as they converse with one girl for the entire night.

Kas' upbeat, gasping vocals stretch over his catchy verse and chorus in an effortless way. His high on connection lyrics fall in suit with the overall rhythm of the song, playing up harmonies at times through acute vocoder effects. Drelli's verse gets descriptive amid a flow that resembles spitting game over the phone. The vocals are fun and the production feels good. Lifted is about as cut-and-dry as you can get for a song about good times and that special person elevating the experience. So I'll just let the music do the rest of the talking.

Listen to Lifted below.
