Talk about an inspirational vocal tone and encouraging words to live by. The "Kid with the hand-me-down fit," Zee Will, is flowing like he's positioned at a podium, delivering a commencement speech despite dropping out of college back in '08.

The ill artist's latest release Go The Distance (prod. by Jukebawks) reads progression like a badge of honor.

Zee Will's zipped up flow has metaphors and punchline woven verses land in a way that misses as cocky, but rather hits as confident. Zee's line: "Got the blueprint I need a 'Yonce" is one witty line in a string that equips him with what he needs to go far in life, word to Hov. The self-belief residing in his voice revs up the best version of myself. His sung hook is a meshing melody with acoustic strings at a comforting tempo divergent of the verse, breaking from the bounce of Jukebawks's leathery kicks and uplifting chords. Will's hook sounds like a mantra and the verses sound like new heights being tackled and witnessed. And when Go The Distance delivers those distorted keys to sound like bursts of guitar chords and hushed tone background vocals, plans are realized and goals are met.

The production leaves Go The Distance on the same note a diploma in hand would leave you on -- excited for where you're going next. If this is Zee Will coasting, I'm ready to go the distance with him.
