Jessy Rose's project Rebirth surprisingly wasn't the sole release the artist had slated for us. Due to a stockpile of music, Rose's loosie, Cold Shoulder, comes as a semi-chopped listen featuring Octavian that shows the thorns that comes with the Dublin artist's last name.

Cold Shoulder frosts over with jacked chords played in short sequences prior to a welcomed production addition of crunching 808s and finger pops from the drums. The stiff tempo makes Jessy Rose's verisimilar lyrics of casual intentions and awkwardness in catching up work its way into Cold Shoulder's equation nicely. Rose's vocals often times gain a speedy flow before his singing drops off into an inflection of masking a hurt. Jessy's singing pairs great with Octavian's deep, altered chorus, a place in the song where Cold Shoulder catches the catchy bug. The lyrics stick to you, the melody is singable and fun to attempt to align the notes Octavian's bassified voice is hitting.

Plainly put, Cold Shoulder is a cold song and another hot one for Jessy Rose.
