Londoner, singer, songwriter and producer Mark Asari continues to provide a sound that drums up the best feelings/visuals of the tropics-obsessed era videos in the early to mid 2000's would adopt.

The new four-day-old release entitled Baby Yo slightly shifts Asari's sound to an electronic dominated production space, ultimately blending the rhythmic trappings of Afro Soul ties in the music. His self-produced summer jam brings no shortage of digi-chords, dropped low bass and complimenting flesh skidding kicks. Baby Yo's production coincides with the Don't Wanna Be A Player artist's vocoder-worked vocals.

Those vocals cast Baby Yo as black island escapism through lyrics that display a privacy in the love of two parties, desire-showing harmonizing in his ad-libs and a catchy, easy to remember melody in his hook. Baby Yo will take you there, wherever it is you want to go. In the summer when you may not be able to get away, what more could you ask for?
