Does ymtk have the ability to create colors into sounds? The artist in "all the right places" has a new song entitled Heavy (prod. by Ekzakt) and if the color peach had a sound, Heavy would be the winner.

Ymtk's Heavy is somehow a sonically relaxed body with a busy mind. Ekzakt's production opens in a sparkling chord progression attached to the hip with scribbling whip chirp sounds underneath said chords. The sound looks at that horizon on the cover art. His pum pum hand drums are island influenced. Those light wood kicks are peeks of passion, the same goes for the clothed bass drum. But the most interesting sound is digi beeps Q*bert hopping throughout the track. Ekzakt creates production on Spring Break. The sounds are airy and take me to a scenery denoting major chill. It is here ymtk introduces us to what's been going on in this place.

Ymtk's vocals sound like sprung breaths, kept as light as possible. The volume of his singing and the tempo he sings at keeps the sonics completely airy. Ymtk floats with ease in his created scenery in Heavy through vocal aesthetics alone. His actual lyrics are the busy mind. When I hear them, especially in the hook, they sound like a passed note, check the box yes or no questionnaire. Ymtk wants to know if they've been on each other's mind. His verses explore play-by-play lyrics of the affectionate day and how heavy of a force his baby's presence is.

Strictly speaking for ymtk's 2017 heat, he's 2/2 with Heavy. This song offers nothing but more and more vibes. So kick back, look at the back of those eye-lids and hit play.
