Explore x The Kount's Served has such a hypnotizing sound, their muffed drums bring this elastic snap to the beat. The warppy synths sound like they're traveling in waves throughout the track, infecting everything with its electronica-funk exuberance. The well-tempered hi-hats, occasional cowbell and groovy bass string moment brings in an underbelly of teleporting the funk that exists to every corner of the beat. Those sounds working with the infinity pool of various drippy digital sound effects make this world created by Explore and The Kount feel like a journey in the mind. Served's sound is quite spontaneous, yet natural, so it prompted strong feelings of imaginative exploration. I absolutely adored it. Served is a cold beat that I can't stop listening to. And I'm sure once y'all hear it you won't be able to either.
