Joey Bada$$ & Kiesza Get the World Dancing with the Visuals for "Teach Me"

Joey Bada$$ hasn't slowed down for a second since the release of his underrated album "B4.DA.$$" back in January. The Pro Era member has been completely annihilating stages on his "World Domination" tour (US and EU), has dropped bangers with Metro Boomin and G Herbo, and is straight being the badmon we know he is in everything else he jumps into. Amid all of that, Joey found the time to drop the visuals for what I think is his most electric song, "Teach Me" ft. Kieza.

The Rik Cordero-directed visuals are exactly how I envisioned the video to be. Everyone in the video is in high spirits. There are massive amounts of positive energy mixed in with the importance and togetherness that the act of dancing signifies, and it's highlighted beautifully. The visuals open with someone dancing right away. Eventually more and more people start to join in with the lone person, then it's Joey Bada$$ and Kieza's turn, with Statik Selektah even hitting a clean b-boy spin in the video. To me, it showed the obvious infectious nature of dancing but also how the act itself is something everyone around the world has in common. No matter what culture you look at, there is some form of dance. That is one thing shared around the entire world and the visuals do a good job displaying that closeness we all have with dancing. Each person in the video clearly comes from a different background, with different shades and hues, different styles, and different sizes represented. Dancing is what brings them together, revealing a warm feeling of unity with everyone simply groovin' to "Teach Me". It's a great time visually.

This video was an absolute joy to watch. The song is strong and amazing on its own, but putting visuals to "Teach Me" shows how music affects people and I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to be a part of the video. In short, I loved it.
