Omen Further Proves He is More Than an Underdog with His New Track "Purple Lights"

I respect that Omen is so story driven. The Dreamville artist dropped a new track a few hours ago entitled "Purple Lights" and the song sounds like an extension of the story he was telling on his album "Elephant Eyes". The story he's telling on this track differs because it gets away from his upbringing and come up as a rapper to center on his life now that he has become what he's worked so hard to be. Omen of course adds in small elements of a love story which is one of his strengths. I think it really blends well with Omen's emotionally invested reminiscent flow, giving "Purple Lights" a smooth sound that brought me into Omen's life. The beat isn't flashy. It has typical claps and familiar drums but it's a dope song that proves Omen is more than just the underdog of Dreamville. He is a full-fledged artist that makes quality music. And his craft should be respected.

Check out the song below.
