From Atlanta to Los Angeles music duo Button (made up of Allen Love & Bobby Earth) leave a paper trail to cover the distance on their squandering track "Dollaz."

Composed of vocals, synths and detailed additional drum programming handled by Earth and guitar, bass and swiping drums performed by Love, "Dollaz" alternatively spices up the money records we're used to with a vicissitudes structure. A shoestring riff ties the song's counter melody down so Earth's principal, lofty melody and lucid vocals on the verse and chorus can follow.

Their preoccupied bridge sounds like goals and dreams realized with a rinsed blueberry chord progression and oily bass and drum relationship that transitions into a bombastically funky instrumental break that is a true synthesizer party the likes of which Button's music has never seen. The sound is quite extravagant and maybe even excessive. But there's no denying that it's a dashingly accurate section for a song living out the term "To the victor go the spoils."
