Los Angeles-based act Carter Ace seemingly tossed around notional melodies like Deangelo Vickers juggling around the office and the performance resulted in paralleling applause.

Carter Ace shouldn't be this good on an undemanding rough draft. Ace's "This Is My House (demo)" is video game soundtrack effective in how it sidescrolls with your thoughts long after you stopped listening to the song.

Moving, Tetris block textured chords stack a cartoonish keyboard riff and melody like it's a TNT stash of built-up feelings Carter is trying to make fit in someone's life again. Oneil's altered vocals are higher in pitch than normal and forcefully launch the want in his thermal runs, surging melodies, surrounding background vocals and harmonies directly at his girl -- following our stacking motif the way the vocals are layered, transition into parts, etc.

If "This Is My House (demo)" becomes a complete song it will become another reason on a litany list of reasons as to why Carter Ace is that musical act.

Enjoy "This Is My House (demo)" while you can below.
