The new Choo Jackson is Chooie growing up before our eyes. The Christo, Jay Card and Nice Rec produced Mansionz sounds like a mash up of the horns in J. Cole's 4 Your Eyez Only and tonal aspects of Logic's Young Jedi, putting the track in a great place to touch on legacy.

Goth keys looped throughout have a forsaken melody fighting against the hype from the shootin' drums and surveying 808 percussion. The riding rhythm is at a swag surf-type movement and it gives Choo license to hurry his flow or hit a slowed echo flow, never skimping on adlib melodies pumping up Mansionz. His lyrics almost feel sacrificial, playing like he is only in this life to get cash to his grandson.

If Mansionz is grunge rap, Choo Jackson is the best one doing it. Jackson never leaves a banger empty. There is always something to adopt just as there is space to bounce and head bang. A true best of both worlds.
