Calvin Holmes is chasing girls on a treadmill and in search of a green light for the go-ahead to get off. And if RedLight tells us anything, it was worth all the exhaust.

Holmes's RedLight is his flirty innocence motif perfected. A biting percussion, bass conversation swings in Theremin-type chords to murk up the outcome of the production's direction and ultimately the emotions of the song, highlighted even further by the underscoring lost echo in the drums and latter shallow chord progression. RedLight's production leaves enough room for optimistic suggestion and Calvin utilizes it.

Cal's hypnotic hook crashes into the brain bank of catchy hooks and works within the song as inner reconsideration that results in taking a chance, or going with the green light. His cartoon, car harmonies and adlibs revs-up the rhythm and backseat drives his main occupied melody. His cruising vocals never want to joyride, they know a destination and the warning signs along the way, but want to get there peacefully and in tandem.

RedLight goes off in the most tame way possible. Once you open up the car doors of this track, you won't want to get out. The ride is that smooth.
