Painfully Grow w/ Show You Suck On "Heavy Metal Love"

A concise soul embrace from Show You Suck is exactly what is needed on a dragging Monday.

Show's MikeJaxx-produced cut, Heavy Metal Love, slow burns a maturity and life knowledge into the fabric of the song. Jaxx's production fogs up the track with layers of squirming warped strings, particularly the underlying riff that leads the rhythm down a 'go with the flow' road that pays off in the end. Heavy Metal Love's connecting to the bat kicks land somewhere in the glove of a spirited bass drop and steamy percussion. MikeJaxx's beat sounds like a look into a misty crystal ball, Show You Suck's raps lay out how you've grown in said crystal ball.

Jetting out with lines on personal feeling towards things like his mom and dad dating, rhyming references and interweaves said references into his diverting wordplay, "I'm real bad at Quidditch, even worse at quittin'," puts all Show's feelings and thoughts on a tangible field. His receptive, at times confused cadence in his verses work entirely too well with his chopped and prattling flow. But once the inflated hook comes in, you can hear the foundation that holds everything together being found. All this is hit while bringing out a confined rhythm you and your body move to. And I've gotta say, it's some way to spice up a Monday.
