The accidental method of personal failure for an artist may not be the path for everyone. But for the What Now singer, Naya, this path has brought her to address everything on the single. And perhaps toe the line of creative misfortune to come out on the other side on a streak.

Naya's What Now intros like satirical ASMR. Static filler controls the background noise, surrounding a smudgy chord progression and brighter tones floating in and out of the production. The earliest sample of her vocals have a hushed tone and reassuring lyrics behind a vibrato of the same classification.

A few things change once the drums come in. What Now's lethargic drums, the dusty guitar strings and ataractic tempo does everything sonically to center Naya once again. But the vocals from the verse don't run away from the uninspired pocket she was once in. Her blahzay-blah tone and listless melody cancel each other out, ending up working like the lyrical promise to stop failing.

What Now represents a total vibe we have all been on, especially any creator. Naya put that lack of energy into her song and after you listen to it you will have to decide, what now?
