If 2017 taught me anything, it was how musically potent the collective Milky Wayv can be. They consistently put out the most unshakable jams. And now, to no one's surprise, they're already giving lessons on how to introduce a new year with better moves and greater outcomes.

The first release to come from the waviest camp is Muwosi's visuals for her latest, Krypton. The Jonah Harnist-directed video uses an 80's home-video aesthetic to give a pinch of Muwosi's kaleidoscope dreams for the private affection she wants. The video oozes style. From the opening freeze frame with the old Imac computer showing old videos to her solitary dancing in the mirror in a demolished setting. The visuals give me the idea that things around her are turning to rubble, but if the focus remains inward and outward on each other things will be alright.

This video looks like the music. The visuals get brightly colorful with red and green. The look, comparable to the sound, feels 80's. Krypton is a strong first outing with what looks to be another great year for Milky Wayv. And if this doesn't get you excited in public and in private, I don't know what will.
