Producer/artist/gamer, Eugene Cam (aka Eugi), stumbled into a melody playpen occupied by featured artist Meltycanon and the duo managed to have fun in their game of lonely voyage.

Eugene's self-produced On My Own carries solitary lyrics but gets lost in the imagination of what one can be. OMO's blocky, seemingly strummed, chords and xylophone-style percussion mixed with tripping 808 percussion conjure up a trembling bass drop and heartsome drums/claps with the assignment of rhythm. That beat sounds like being happy regardless of circumstance, a mood Eugene and Melty run away with.

Cam's reposeful cadence in his 3-5-3 line flow keep his goal in mind. Hearing the hook's repetitiveness and the shine of the hook further drives the aforementioned goal of being all that is thought about. Meltycanon even gets in on the fun, pumping up his confidence to accomplish it and be happy doing it. Canon's charmed cadence hits the ear like a minor glimmer of resilience. His hyperbole of self in his lyrics make you feel simply able. And at the root, that is all you need.
