Look no further. Here you'll find Muwosi's latest, Krypton, basking in an 80's new wave glory shined brighter by the trusty synthesizer gunk energizing the track.

Muwosi's self-produced song is youthful energy bouncing off the wall when the source of said energy is a person, and in that same breath they're your ultimate weakness. The Milky Wayv artist's exhausted-sounding vocals in her confounded hook slowly grow in anger and by the end take on a punkish shriek. The layering of her vocals and reverb on the background vocals throughout her verses snowball the lyrics like they are thoughts in your head, cementing an understanding of where she is coming from by song's end. Her trusting melody doubles down on emotion and just humming it feels and sounds so good. And that is olive-branched to the production.

Krypton's production makes its own statement from the jump. LinnDrum, Take On Me-type drums, vogue at an intensified tempo next to her droning chord progression and ubiquitous percussion. The beat shuffles a lot of the rhythms and despite Muwosi's confusion in the song, the impulse to get up and dance is made clear. And made even clearer is that Krypton is a good 80's song from 2017.
