Rappers flexing with congested full bravado coming from their chest flow typically represent the most polarizing part of a song. Inland Empire, California's Noa James is no exception to this informal rule.

Noa James' most recent drop, Be Majestic, cooks an adipose melody quickly with his hook of complete self-love and becoming a better you. The hook's melody and the message it pushes sits with you, doing more than solely being digested. Noa's determined cadence in his verses compliment the tunnel vision of his delivery and lyrics. Each line constructs the unicorn body and mindset he is working towards.

James' verses sit so comfortably in Be Majestic's pockets that his raps sound like they sought out an environment they can grow in, hence his closing words: "He finally found a beat he can dance to." And that beat, produced by Ital Santos, succeeds at putting some elegance in a majestic transition and giving some bite to Noa's bark. A reflective string section gives everything a specific motion to move in. The resulting sound is the aspiring beauty that in actuality is already there. Ital's splashy kicks and muffled dribble for drums bounce a confident rhythm all around the song. It makes the tweak of those guitar strings hit like the lowdown cool in your life. The production, through these ears, sounds like the true beat of your own drum. And Noa James makes you want to embrace it, however yours tends to beat.

So I ask you, who wouldn't want to be majestic?
