Get ready to try on the awkward pants that is Reymun's music. You'll be surprised how they fit.

Reymun's latest, mi boo (demo), is why the Internet exists and precisely the result of people being able to make the music they want to make, in the best possible way.

After less than two minutes of warped guitar chords with artless reverb and a croaking bassline, I'm drawn in. Rey's distant lover-boy/inadequate boyfriend lyrics speak relatability from beginning to end. The tone of his voice flips between timid and confident, revealing his lack of relationship confidence. The interpolation of Usher's My Boo for his hook is the most awkward, for lack of a better word, input of lyrics. And I love it. The overwork of effects on his voice to sound like overblown falsetto ripples through mi boo like an authentic serenade for someone you care about. It reminds me of when Martin sings to Gina.

Mi boo (demo) has an oddball charm to it that can't be beat. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
