Brooklyn's Adrian Daniel passed on the influence of a Beat It jacket to dawn the jacket of Kaneda (from Akira), a more fitting style for the singer motorcycling around with The Weeknd's Echos of Silence in his back pocket.

In Daniel's latest audio pill, Open Up, he Batman looks over the city of emotions and romantic possibilities in hopes of leading his one and only to open Pandora's box of inner and outer beauty. Through his deeply trusting falsetto, often times sounding scratchy from auto-tune and distortion, you can hear the desire for his one and only to know they are enough. Adrian's minor runs in his chorus and in the background harmonizing clasp of a melody delayed in its catchy, simply because the production (handled by Jack Dine & Bakerman) snatch the catchy first.

Open Up's production breaks in with a charged synth bassline to darken the clouds over the track. That sound makes the later ascendance of the chord progression appear as a brightening to coincide with the lyrics. The chord progression is the true sweet spot in the production, not to mention the choreographed rhythm from the 808s and fiery slide from that drum pattern.

Open Up is a dope R&B cut as easy as a cruise on a motorcycle, which makes this cut an easy one to chill out to.
