Leave it to Milky Wayv to produce yet another song with refreshing properties, this time coming as the second single from Indie-Soul songstress Solace.
The artist with the vocals to match the name holds Infinite's production and vocal performance in the same location, the horizon.
A beyond familiar, short-looped chord progression rises and gives the track a homey feeling off rip. Solace's kicks sound birthed from a large swath of timberland, cracking a path for her ambient vocals to "make everything calmer."
Solace's vocals are the special element of Infinite. The delicate pace of her singing stops to smell the roses in a sense. The shortness of her delivery brought by icy, breathed sounding vocals secure a lasting power on her lyrics. That sound performs a calming of the water effect when Solace's vocals find themselves harmonizing as backing vocals, completing the atmosphere and aiding in the counter-melody. The sound genuinely does manifest as a horizon.
Solace is masterful at atmospheric music. So far her songs have created environmental scenery. And I am enjoying where the music is leading me. My hope is that these sounds do the same for you.
Listen to Infinite below.
