Songsmith Bruno Major has drilled into the tapestry of Pixar-esque emotions through music with his most recent work, Places We Won't Walk.

The Phairo-assisted song accomplishes an emotional gaze from the get-go through the lovely songwriting of saudade that features a longing of the unattainable. Bruno Major's delicate, lullaby vocals harmonize comfortingly with chords and notes seamlessly holding Places We Won't Walk in autumnal equinox. Major's singing, particularly when he croons "Children cry, and laugh and play/ so the air will turn to gray" before returning to the verse, feels similar in melody and emotion to Rufus Wainwright's version of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. Needless to say, it is a beautiful moment in Bruno Major's vocals, especially his falsetto for the high note.

Places We Won't Walk is tender ivories and a man in observational misery. The music is the greatest convincing for how gorgeous this song is. So it is high time you take a listen.
