Adolescence is over. The job of adulting starts now. The management of love is left in your hands with no manual in sight. At least us newly 20-somethings have Omar Apollo's yearning ballad, Pram, a cleverly titled track about distance.

Pram is so good to me it excuses the awfulness Jimmy Fallon brings to the track's cover art. Apollo's opening groovy hint of a bluesy guitar lick offers a dose of melody right before his vocals. There is a bop in the vibrato from his techniques. Omar's vibrato being atop Pram's strummy looping riff adds an extra flare to the song before it ultimately duets with his vocals. The instrumentation read is simple. Omar Apollo's chords sound as if they're keeping the song as stripped as possible, especially the alice blue guitar solo. Those high notes bend and reverberate a left behind loneliness. It is Omar's vocals that fill up all this free time.

Apollo's lyrics are in a confessional space. The singing yields a longing inflection for the basics of affection, attention and connection. The monotone moments in his voice marinate the funk he finds himself in, his singing sounding like a message he never intends to send.

Pram is that guitar chord-based song I was looking for today. My only hope is that all of you will find what you're looking for in Pram, as well.

Listen to Pram below.
