Jameel Bruner (better known as Kintaro) is racking up his own sauna of bops that have a public access freedom in the way they sound.
Jameel's latest hot rock causing steam is entitled SOMETHIN, and something it is. Something about SOMETHIN feels damn good. The production's hoof clacks pull in a shared rhythm. The tinker approach to pattering percussion and dribbling on hardwood bass assists in the dancing Bruner's hook and verse is calling for.
Kintaro's hook is living in my head. He's absolutely flying with his vocals. His falsetto is a sonic wheedle onto the dance floor. It's practically an attempt at the dreamy vocals and I think it's lit. SOMETHIN is my favorite track so far from the former The Internet member.
And "if this don't make you dance, then I don't know what will."
