After an all-night solo listening party and a good dose of reality, I can finally say this -- Xavier Omär's project The Everlasting Wave is in the physical. Well, as physical as streaming and digital copies of music can get.

The 8-song body of work is a sonic emotional battleground, designed to guide towards a spot of resolution or comfort. Xavier Omär uses his gorgeous falsetto to equip The Everlasting Wave with an emotional openness, from the opening track, Blind Man, to his finale song, Poison the vocals are awesome and real. There's truly something for everyone.

The Everlasting Wave recruits a lot of the top talent of producers in the game -- J-Louis, Thelonious Martin, Hit Boy, Peter Cottontale, IAMNOBODI and a few more producers and musicians to help craft this sound. Xavier Omär even got in the mix (as he's known to do) and produced on his tracks Speculate and Poison.

I'm just overzealous for y'all to stream and purchase this project. In an attempt to stay on a strictly introductory basis, The Everlasting Wave can travel from crazy funky with a groovin bassline and horns on Special Eyes, to a track like Poison, which reminds me a bit of Earth Angel by The Penguins in relation to the song's guitar riffs. There's a true late 50's, early 60's Doo-Wop sound and energy to it. The music tells me that it's a special project that can reach all types of musical tastes. And before y'all jump into The Everlasting Wave, the noteworthy work needed light.
