I've become quite the fan of Bobby Earth very quickly. His music effortlessly feeds my live instrumentation obsession and can take me adrift in my daydreams for hours. And we awesomely got a body of jams entitled PROGRESSION that breaths in that same atmosphere.

PROGRESSION, entirely produced by Bobby Earth, is a trail mix bag of sounds. The tape is an array of genres featuring a clear emotional direction with different levels of chill. Bobby's 7-track tape is graced with features from The Internet's Kintaro on Airplane Mode, Choice & Tarron Overshown on the introductory track The Corner, additional keyboard from Brandon Willis and the final feature from Brice Blanco on Sheet Music. Through Bobby Earth's dreamlike approach to his music (with a little help from his friends), he constructed a great sounding body of work that put me on a infinite floating flamingo pink cloud accompanied by the love of my life. All kicked off by The Corner.

Seriously, the music in The Corner is like a journey. The prancing spritz of the hi-hat is gorgeous. And the nasty rolls on the snare is jazzy, yet Bobby Earth's tenderly enamoured vocals make it sound as if it's an R&B joint. This is all great music on a instrumentation spectrum and on a feelings scale.

Y'all are in for a treat with PROGRESSION. From the title track, to Cerberus, to finally Space Trip. You will hear something different on each song. Don't sleep on Bobby Earth. He's on an inspired wave that's all his own. Something mad hard to come by.
