I'm heeding the call for a worldwide petition to make Teddy Jackson -- The Flyest Sing Along (Too Fly Not To Fly) ft. Erica René, Smino and Jean Deaux the national ABC tune we teach our kids. I would have loved to have had something so loving to hear while molding my young mind.

The new joint produced by Cam O'bi, inspired by alphabet photo-book Too Fly Not To Fly (by Des Owusu and Briana Mclean), is what I call sonic sunshine for minds static in the loins of youthfulness. Teddy Jackson's vocals as he skips from A to Z while reciting words for each letter ushers in old feelings of Sesame Street-like warmth and excitement from the fun of learning. His lyrics and melody sounds tailor-made with a level of care and attentiveness. His careful diction for each letter follows in the footsteps of the book, bringing in waves of positivity, esteem, and togetherness geared towards black children. I peeped his pro black line at E too, showing the loveliness and carefree in Ebony. Teddy drops an array of honey-coated words with a ton of weight. They are words that carry messages that kids, as well as teens and adults, should have.

The Flyest Singalong is a tune I can't get over. The cold, quickly rapped part from M to N offers an extra jolt of interest. I heard it as truly being for the kids, because after L, M-N-O-P is the part to quickly get jumbled up in song. It's pretty innovative as far as ABC songs go.

Nearly reaching the ending of the song, the very trio style when singing "I'm too fly not to fly" sounds like the song is soaring at that point. Cam O'bi's sick beat (previously heard on Supa Bwe - Fool Wit It Freestyle) is tapping away. Those snares mixing with the harpish strums lightly washes over you. There's an unexplained solidarity in the beat that's perfect for this song. The snare's military severity makes the airy lift in Jean Deaux and Erica René's vocals feel like support ready to help you get where you're going. I loved it.

The Flyest Singalong is simple in thought, but boy does this song reach deep in my opinion. Teddy Jackson and friend's happy-natured tune belongs in the classroom. This is a precious song for all children and their parents alike. My hope is that y'all will get a kick out of it.
