Twelve'Len's forthcoming project Friends has floated through the Internet with much speculation and anticipation. As far as my knowledge goes there has yet to be a set release date for the project, but that hasn't kept Twelve's entirely silent on the musical front.

Twelve'Len's latest loose song Naked Hustle (Bizzle Tribute) expands upon the lover's quest lore he's built around himself and his music. Naked Hustle's opening offers a very intriguing start for a song. The beat and ad-libs heard sound as if they're projected through a radio in an empty performance studio. There's an immediate feeling of open expression in the song. Hearing the solitary, yet confident strut of a woman's high heel clicks layered on top had me interpreting the song as a space that revels in a woman's open confidence and right to be an alluring sexual being, which the beat switch and Twelve'Len's emotionally intrigued vocals represent beautifully.

Naked Hustle (Bizzle Tribute) is naturally produced by frequent producer collaborators Nick Leon and John Falco who without fail align the beat's levels with the tone of Twelve'Len's voice. The two always manage to create the proper sounds to orchestrate a feeling of warm distance in Twelve'Len songs. These two know his sound. They help direct where he wants to go with the music and it turns out great. The slowly balanced movement of the dispirited chord progression rings for the loss of Miami's OG Bizzle. Their thumping kick and synth keys beat sizzle a level of redemption into the song. My favorite part of the beat, the Taiko-like drums, strike up a familiar strength that always traces back to Kanye West's Amazing for me. Ye set up the blueprint for how to use Taiko drums in modern producing. Sonically and stylistically these drums pounce like Amazing's with the ferocity toned down, sounding more clock-like, but still lets me know that Miami's pounding for Bizzle -- starting with Naked Hustle (Bizzle Tribute).

Twelve'Len takes everything the beat pumped life into and re-creates Bizzle's story to make this a beautifully real tribute. Twelve'Len sings this song like he's a narrator. His vocals are soft with hints of pain and humanity. He sounds as if he wants his vocals to reach someone. I believe he wants this story told because there is a great message in it. He of course still manages to make it all sound like a love story along with how he structures his lyrics and uses heavy sweet diction. I felt what was said. I was sad, happy and at peace listening to this. Naked Hustle (Bizzle Tribute) is a nice sentiment that doubles as a good song. The story is a beautiful one and I can't wait for y'all to hear it.
