Listen to Genshin's Boosted "Im The Map" Re-Work

If you had any childhood at all, you likely watched Dora. And if so, you know that The Map's song was all hook and mad catchy, making Map Fetty Wap before Fetty Wap. But I never thought about how well of a re-work his map song would turn out to be, until Genshin boosted the hell out of it.

Genshin's Im The Map re-work shouldn't be as dope as it, it makes no sense why The Map's song is so lit. The sheer purpose of Genshin's bass is to blow out speakers, while the knock has a low ember in its sound that moves everything. His 808s have a mechanical flutter that's hard to keep up with. Those bongo-ish pop drums with the re-work's screwy sounding keys are clownish in nature and in my opinion help hold the kiddish feeling the song has. It's really cool. In the songs totality it gives The Map's actual words from the song a jugg that is so fun.

I'm starting to see a lot of re-works over old cartoons or video game music, and so far they've slapped each time. Genshin's Im The Map might be in contest for my favorite, just edging near some of the dope work CLOCKWORKDJ's done with his cuts. All I hope is they keep them coming.
