Brian Fresco's latest song Higher ft. Chance The Rapper and Blue Hawaii truly embodies the spirit of summer. Higher takes that electricity found in your chest and feet when listening to Dancehall and makes it take a bit of an exhilarating pitfall leap through the reserve of House music/electronic music energy. And I can't get enough of it.

SaveMoney's Brian Fresco opens this song up taking it straight to a mind-blowing night beach party. His auto-tuned vocals rush in this blitzed notion and atmosphere as the lyrics about partying and exploring the party life in this girl he's spotted at a party that's got him verbally hittin' his dutty wine brings its own rhythm that is infectious. The same goes with the hook. Blue Hawaii's frontwoman (Raphaelle Standell-Preston's) hook gets adventurous. The vocals sound tailor-made as if for a score of a music festival montage. Preston's vocals sound like they're looking for the next level of excitement, whether that's in somebody or the next party. It's truly a carefree feeling only enhanced by the beat.

The beat, to no surprise, has moments of pulsating vibrancy, and you find the same eagerness to dance in the music. The drums are extremely tonal and sit somewhere closer to keys -- until the beat drops and real programmed droopy drop drums pounce in. There are hints of prickly 808s, glittery keys, along with a load of random wood clave clicks and knocks that invite in a Chance The Rapper verse that is like a second wind through the night.

Chance's verse is fun. There's no other way to slice it. His verse gets crazy descriptive about the girl he wants at this party and he vibrantly brings it to life. Chano's flow riding with the drums in tandem with his lyrics paints out what the faces there look like. In my opinion, Chance brings the party to life and shows that Higher is about ending the night the same way it started. Brian Fresco's Higher feels like that fun time. It needs to make it into your summer playlist. Because it's definitely made it into mine.
