It's musical times like this that I have to thank all artists, producers, DJ's and everyone in-between. Without them, we would have no mixes like the Cinematic Radio 002 mix Jonny Shipes blessed us with. And I'll be the first to say it's absolutely beautiful and I'm thankful for it.

If you're like me, having a personal cache of music from a ton of artists who's music practically raised you and guided you throughout high school or various life obstacles is special. It's not every day that the majority of these artists can find so much unity in music and mesh it all together in a mix so that it feels like an album, but with a mix like this that became a reality. Music lovers don't have to search far with the abundance of prolific and versatile songs from Nyck Caution, Aaron Rose, Dirty Sanchez, Joey Bada$$ (including the badmon's slick ode Brooklyn's Own for his Brooklyn brother Biggie) or Saintly Mick Jenkins tracks, bangers from G Herbo offering punches of reality and a new ruthless Chuck Strangers cut that's crucial for the ears. And that's only a fraction of the first half of the mix. Jonny Shipes made this mix as diverse in sound as the artists are on Cinematic Music Group with their individual songs. There's a lovely country track that put my heart on my sleeve, light rock songs that star gaze and inspire, dance club atmosphere songs to escape with -- practically every sound that you're looking for from creative artists expanding the musical space we live in can be found with this mix. Jonny Shipes' Cinematic Radio 002 mix is an oasis of refreshing music that's coming from a space showcasing the love of all types of music. I would advise all of you to give this mix a spin. Like me, you'll walk away knowing a few new artists and maybe even become a bigger fan of the ones you've been ridin' with.
