I didn't know who Xaliunknwn or who Devin Lee were before today, but I damn sure know them now. Xaliunknwn's BE CAUTIOUS ft. Devin Lee (prod. by Jahrahmf) is a song that's ready to massacre.
The first thing that lunged out at me was of course the beat on BE CAUTIOUS. Jahrah ate on this joint. The unstable drums strike simultaneously with his demonic deep vibrate of that bass chord-like synth. I thought that striking sound had dark tones that plummeted this song to the Realm of Hades from God of War 3. Jah's shots of prickly 808s cut through the track, upping the ferocity and sharpness. Xaliunknwn and Devin Lee spit with that same level of savagery. They both spit like they were lying in wait for the kill. Xali and Devin rap with speed; they both rap in a boastful way with a motive to flex and stunt on everyone through this cool music they're putting out. And cool music it is. Xaliuknwn's BE CAUTIOUS is the Realm of Hades. There's something to fear around every corner, and I believe they did it while keeping the track a banger. Well done to all three of them. Can't wait to find out what the future collabs from Xali's forthcoming EP TheREDep will hold.
