If you aren't listening to SuperDuperBrick yet it's about time you get with it. People are always itching for something different musically and when it comes to the SuperDuperCrew it's basically take your pick. So hopeful after listening to Brick's new instrumental want u close you will have found the cure for that musical itch.

Somehow Super Brick's saddest of beats bring me tons of joy. Brick's want u close is simple, but that's why it works so well. The lonely single hit of the drum, his patient metronome-like tock brings so much time to this track. In my opinion it felt like I was in an infinite emotional state of the same sadness Brick was feeling when he made this -- looking at those cat clocks with their eyes shifting back and forth, mocking me for feeling like hours had gone by when it's only been a about a minute. That feeling and those sounds from the drum work with Brick's experimental keys that are in the midst of their own pity party so well. The somber single notes with the small tender progression ring out for companionship. The random order and sound work in unison to manifest those late-night thoughts. When he threw in the sting of the sound effect keys, want u close underscored the gnawing feeling of wanting to apologize to bae after a fight, but you're both too petty. It was cool. want u close goes through the motions of a relationship in 2016 and it does so with personality.

For a beat made so quickly, it does a lot of cool things. Brick is already in a production space all his own. It's only a matter of time until we get the full length beat tape. When that day comes my head will surely explode from all the excitement.
