Qoxli x Sam Ptak Grow and Convey Maximum Expression with Their Track "Wit A Indigo Remix"

Colorado artist Qoxli is definitely a direct product of Capital STEEZ and The Underachievers. He likes to stay within that conscious realm and he does exactly that with one of his latest tracks "Wit A Indigo Remix" (ft. Sam Ptak).

The two artists (full disclosure, who are my close friends) really made a cool little song that I think is Qoxli's best. The instrumental (widely used) has real standard drums and a familiar 808 arrangement, but there is a sample of Stevie Wonder's "They Won't Go When I Go" acting as the hook in this track which I love. Stevie is absolutely amazing. Having the sample placed where it is brings a sad realness about death to the track that's delivered in a soft way.

Qoxli's first verse acts as the polar opposite to the hook. He spits about maximum expression and doing all one can while alive. His voice in the verse has this echoing effect applied to it, making it sound as if he's fading away but getting out this last message. The entire sound and message makes me want to get into the things I want to do purely because of my passion for them, and I believe that's really important for people to know and to do. Sam Ptak's verse isn't that far off from Qoxli's. He just gets more into trying new things because you only live once and what's life if you haven't experienced as much as you possibly can. Ptak also throws in some cool Dragon Ball Z references and kind of looks at life in a more spiritual way juxtaposed to Qox's literal way at the beginning of "Wit A Indigo Remix". It's a real cool song that ends with Sam and Qoxli trading lines before leaving the track with their ultimate lesson of finding who you truly are. The song definitely displays Qoxli's growth as an artist. It's cool to see someone you know get better and know they'll keep growing. I hope y'all find enjoyment in the song.
