Stream J Dilla's Already Masterpiece "Dillatronic"

Today is a beautiful and very special day. Thanks to J Dilla's mother, Maureen "Ma Dukes" Yancey, we have a new lengthy Dilla album coming Oct. 30th. But today we all have the lucky opportunity to stream the album "Dillatronic" ahead of time to prepare for the release.

The 41-track beat tape has never been heard before. With its massive-sounding range from a chill 90's vibe to a more upbeat tempo, some tracks sound made from his custom Moog Voyager Synthesizer while other songs align with Jay's Akai MPC3000LE. Every song comes complete with Jay Dee's trademark sound. Sonically it's ahead of its time. I'm not exactly sure when everything was recorded, but the legendary producer has been dead for nearly ten years, yet somehow "Dillatronic" sounds so current. There are different elements within the beats that J Dilla shouldn't have been able to pull off with the limited resources he had to make beats. But he does that here (as he always has). This is definitely something y'all wanna get your hands on when it drops. Check back in to Back To The Elements after the official release to peep my full thoughts on "Dillatronic" once we've all fully digested this already-deemed masterpiece.

Rest In Beats J Dilla.
