Last night Travi$ Scott took us all to the rodeo with his performance of an extended version of "Antidote" on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!".
The performance was completely insane! To say Travis crushed it is an understatement. The stage was decked out with rodeo themed props and a mountain range projected as the backdrop as the crowd matched Scott's uncontrollable energy. La Flame wasted no time to inflict the beautiful chaos on the crowd. Less than halfway through the performance he called out to the crowd to start a mosh pit. As the pit grew bigger and bigger everything became more electrifying. Travis was wildly jumping around, occasionally spitting the lyrics and the crowd was bouncin' with him. It truly looked and felt like a rock show. The way the crowd was invested, Travi$ Scott's rowdy movements and how it looked aesthetically. You can't possibly say Travi$ Scott doesn't put on a great performance. He makes it a total experience. He is the first performer I've ever seen get a late night talk show crowd that hype, a feat in itself.
Travi$ Scott put on a great performance that made me hype just watching it. It makes me excited (and a bit nervous) to take on the rodeo myself in a few weeks. Hopefully I will survive it. But after what I saw it's a challenge I'm willing to take.
