The Impact of Capital STEEZ

Happy STEEZ Day Everyone. Every July 7th (Capital STEEZ' birthday) we take time to recognize the genius that was Capital STEEZ.

It is crazy that we have been without King Capital for almost three years now. His impact on pop culture, hip-hop culture and people is undeniable. The quality of music he left behind in that small amount of time should be appreciated. "Amerikkkan Korruption" is as good as mixtapes get. There aren't many full projects by anyone that come near "AK". The production, the subject matter, his flow was something no one was doing. He was able to start a whole new wave of thinkers and trends in music. This whole "spiritual" tip that a lot of kids like to be about today is due in part to STEEZ. He was ahead of his time and talked about all these things that are big today. He had a huge hand in introducing that to his pros and fans.

If we were lucky enough to have STEEZ today he'd be top four. I have no doubt that Capital STEEZ would be mentioned along the likes of Kendrick, J. Cole, and Joey Bada$$ for best out. His debut album would have been crazy. The knowledge and impressive verses could have stirred up the rap world. The world wasn't 100% ready when we had him but more have caught on today. Thanks to the seeds he left they are helping minds bloom. That is why STEEZ will live on forever.

Long Live STEELO!
