YG Goes All The Way West Coast and Funky With "Twist My Fingaz"

YG takes it all the way West Coast with his latest joint. His brand new released song "Twist My Fingaz" is the Compton rapper at his finest.

It is clear that YG getting shot just added fuel to the fire. YG consistently gets better and we saw that with his 2014 album "My Krazy Life" (which should have at least been nominated for a Grammy by the way). But with "Twist My Fingaz" YG is on a level he hasn't been on before. The incredibly Funky and hard beat produced by Terrace Martin is infectious from the get go. Which is safe to say due in part to the sample of Funkadelic's "One Nation Under A Groove" also borrowing from the bass-line of Ray Parker Jr. & Raydio's "For Those Who Like To Groove".

Lyrically YG is nice on this song. He is completely in sync with the beat and it adds to the authenticity of everything. As he raps he's letting you know that he is right back to it and is the same YG. He always keeps it real and that realness and reflection of his life into his music isn't lacking here. He is calling out all the fakes that aren't real bloods and they know who they are. YG's the only one that's rapping who's really about what they say. And he vocalizes that in the song. It is a strong way to come back after being in the situation he was just in. If this is a glimpse of what "Still Krazy" is going to sound like I'm ecstatic!
